How do I scan my Clubcard?
Simply hold the barcode on the back of your Clubcard or present the Clubcard barcode in the New World app under the scanner and listen for the beep, or you can swipe your Clubcard through the EFTPOS machine.
How do I register my Clubcard online?
If you joined after June 2020, you are already registered. Otherwise it’s easy. Just log in here by entering either your Clubcard number or email address and providing some basic information like name and contact details. You’ll also need to set up a password and security questions to complete your online registration.
Does my Clubcard need a PIN?
You’ll need to set a PIN on your Clubcard to keep your New World Dollars secure. When you would like to use them, swipe your physical Clubcard through the EFTPOS machine and enter your PIN.
You can set a PIN in the ‘Activity/New World Dollar’ section when you log in to clubcard.co.nz, or contact the Clubcard Helpline on 0800 80 70 70. Remember to keep your PIN safe.
If you don’t set up a PIN on your Clubcard, New World reserves the right to ask for photo ID when you redeem your New World Dollars at point of purchase.
How can I keep my Clubcard online account secure?
Make sure you choose a strong password that’s not easy to guess (e.g. not your birthday or children’s names). Use 8 or more characters with upper and lower case characters, numbers and symbols in a random order. Ensure you change it regularly, and be careful not to share your password with anyone or write it down.
Make sure your security questions are strong too and the answer can’t be found on your Facebook page.
Can I collect both Flybuys and Airpoints Dollars at the same time?
No. When joining Clubcard, you decide to earn either Flybuys or Airpoints Dollars. You can change your preferred rewards programme from Airpoints to Flybuys (and vice versa) at any time on the 'Your account’ page when you log in to clubcard.co.nz
Can I switch from collecting Flybuys points to earning Airpoints Dollars?
Yes you can. If you’d like to switch, it’s quick and easy on your account page. We’ll send you a new Clubcard that will be linked to your new preferred rewards programme. If we have your email address, we’ll send you an email letting you know the change is complete along with a new card number and barcode to use while you wait for your new card. You can also use your new card number to create a digital barcode in the New World app. When you change your preferred currency, you cannot transfer any points from one rewards programme to the other.
Can I link multiple Clubcards to a single Flybuys or Airpoints account?
Yes. If want your Clubcard linked to an existing Flybuys account, contact Flybuys on 0800 359 2897.

My Clubcard online account has been locked, how can I unlock it?
We lock a registered Clubcard account if we believe there’s a security risk (e.g. someone has entered the wrong password too many times). You’ll need to contact the Clubcard Helpline on 0800 80 70 70 to have it unlocked.
